Hi! I'm Steen.
I teach talented young people from 12 to 20 years of age physics, spaceflight, rocketry, space technology, satellites, astronomy, radio communication, antennas, electronics and programming at Science Talenter, the Danish national talent development centre. I've done so since 2013.
I was president of the Danish Astronautical Society from 2006 to 2016.
I've been a member of the jury in the Danish CanSat-competition since 2017.
I'm a licensed radio amateur, and my call sign is OZ1SEJ.
Together with Jakob Kirnæs I've written the book “Physics in Space – Rockets, Satellites and Earth Observation”.
The book is intended for teaching STX Physics A, but can be read by anyone who wants to know more about spaceflight – however, a lot of its contents require some advance knowledge of differential calculus, momentum and Newtonian mechanics.
The book can be purchased for 200 kr. at Fysikforlaget.
In connection with the DISCO-project I've written the book “Introduction to Satellite Communications”, which can be downloaded for free here.
